Ce fil est très doux et poilu. Il peut facilement remplacer un fil de mohair et soie si on est sensible au mohair. Il peut s'utiliser seul ou être tenu double avec lui-même ou avec un autre fil pour un effet doux, poilu, chaud et luxueux. Il est plus fin que notre Nuage d'alpaga et correspond mieux à l'épaisseur d'un mohair soie classique. La teinte grise du yak apporte une magnifique profondeur à nos coloris, ce qui le rend particulièrement intéressant avec nos fils Merino Yak Sock et BFL Gotland Fingering.
Échantillon recommandé : variable selon la texture souhaitée. À 24 mailles par 10 cm, le tissu n'est pas transparent et est adéquat pour un vêtement. Tenu double avec lui-même à 18 mailles par 10 cm, le tissu est chaud et léger.
Laver à la main à l'eau froide avec un détergent à laine (ex. : Eucalan ou Soak), sécher à plat.

This yarn is super soft and fluffy and can easily replace a mohair and silk blend for those who are sensitive to mohair. It can be used on its own or held double with itself or another yarn for added luxury, fluff and softness. It is thinner than our Nuage d'alpaga and is closer to a classic mohair silk yarn. The grey colour of the yak gives a warm undertone to our colourways, which makes this yarn particularly suited to be used with our Merino Yak Sock and BFL Gotland Fingering.
Recommended gauge: various textures can be achieved. At 24 sts/4 inches, the fabric is not see-through and is adequate for a garment. Held double with itself at 18 sts/4 inches, the fabric is warm and light.
Hand wash in cold water with wool wash (eg.: Eucalan or Soak), lay fat to dry.
